Pluot and aprium have recently becoming quite popular in the supermarket accross the United States. Pluot is basically plum and apricot genetically fused to create a mutated species that carry the flavor of both plum and apricot. Conversely, aprium is apricot and plum fused together.
Despite the popularity of pluot and aprium, not many home gardeners have grown these amazingly flavorful fruit trees in their backyard orchard.
